Regarding the coronavirus situation in Saitama Prefecture, many suspected cases of infection
with the new, supposedly highly contagious Omicron variant have been confirmed throughout the　community, and the number of new positive cases continues to increase rapidly .
In order to curb the further spread of coronavirus in the prefecture, we would like to ask for your cooperation as follows:

1.Request to Citizens
Request in accordance with Article 24, Paragraph 9 of the Act on Special Measuras for Pandemic Influenza and New Infectious Diseases Preparedness and Response.
If you travel outside of the prefecture, in addition to basic infection prevention measures (social distancing, wearing a mask, hand washing and sanitation, etc.), along with avoiding the "Three Cs, " please be sure not to stop at any place besides your destination.

2.Other requests
Please refrain from going out when you have a fever or other symptoms.
